Ok, here is the problem: I have a 1994 Ford Explorer and the A/C only blows hot air. Even when i put the push the A/C button to make it cold, it still blows hot air. Is it a freon problem? Is it cheap to fix? Or should I bring it to a shop for a look over? I really need to know b/c its really hot in my area. Please and Thank you.

#1---Check all fuses and relays
#2---Find low pressure switch on accumulator and unplug it, jump the 2 pins in the wiring connector and see if compressor runs.
#3---If compressor runs, have refrigerant level checked.
#4---If compressor does not engage---go back to #1
#5---Make sure the blend door is working to allow any cold air to enter cabin
Good luck and let us know if there is anything we can help with. Please do these tests and post back with results.
