Performance Chips vs Honey, where's the key?

Still have the obnoxious beast known as my wife's 2001 Dodge Durango SLT. I was wondering if anyone has read up on performance chips or programmers and can give some advice in that area on improving gas mileage.

The only successful method I've found thus far for seriously improving MPG is hiding the key from the wife. :) Which ends in her taking my car running all the gas out anyway! -- but thats another story

lol, well, have you tried jcwhitney? they may have some sort of computor programmer. i dunno, but you can give it a shot.
