Yet another needed code, '05 Civic

So here is my situation. I had a 2005 civic in which I removed the stock radio and put in an aftermarket pioneer head unit. After a year with this car I decided to trade it in and get a Mazda 3. Long story short, the pioneer head unit was left in my civic when I traded it in and now i am stuck with a honda radio. I decided to put the radio in my boat. I wired everything up and much to my dismay realized i didn't keep the security code from my civic. I now have two questions. First, how many incorrect codes can you enter before you lock the radio up. And second, can anyone help me get a code for the radio.
