interior trim question

So the little peice of leather trim on my driver side door was a little loose on one corner and i asked a friend to take a look at it to see what he thought. after looking at it for about 10 seconds he then says "well it looks like you might have to take it off" and then proceeds to rip it off. Now it is virtually hanging off of the door and i dont know how to get it back on there. I would really appreciate some help on this.
On an unrelated note, does anyone here with active aero have problems with their spoiler rattling from subwoofers? how did you fix it? I'm about to get my subwoofers in the car and it seems like that thing would rattle like hell.

as for the piece of trim, which piece are you referring to? the little piece glued on at the top of the door trim, or the peice the extends along the bottom?
if its the top piece, just get some fabric adhesive and glue it back on. for the bottom peice, its a simple fix since theres 1 screw and 3 plastic hooks.
now as for the active aero, i can't help ya there. however, i've heard people talk about it, and i think 3sx sells a solution. perhaps this is what you're referring to http://www.3sx.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=562

its the top peice like in this pic, just behind the door handle/lock peice.

mine has metal tabs that supposedly hold in it, is it supposed to be glued and guided in with the tabs or what? its not solid leather either, it has a metal back that the tabs attach to so fabric adhesive wouldnt bond between the metal and the plastic door material I think.

that's the top piece i was referring to, the one next to the door handle.
mine has come off, and it appears to have been glued on. i bought some fabric interior adhesive at auto zone, i'll take pics later and see how it turns out.
basically, the edges come unglued first, and when that happens, its looks ragged and shabby. then it will just eventually fall off. i'll see how mine is attached, but i'm pretty sure they are glued.

in this picture from the FAQ thread, you can see that they attached a different color piece of leather or whatever fabric to match the new seat covers

so i'm still thinking glue on, but i didn't wanna take the time to read that long post and see how they actually did it. but those vertical wrinkles don't look so good on the door. of course, we would want it to be smoothed out and look clean around the edges.

yeah the peice that's falling off has a bit of the wrinkly stuff going on. the tabs must be there to give it some hardware to hold it in there or something. the previous owner messed around with the interior a bit and even tho he was no idiot, its clear in some spots that it was taken apart and put back togehter. nothing real big but as the owner of the car, i must gripe about everything :D
off topic: those are seriously just seat covers? looks like a custom leather job to me, especially with the back seats like that as well. sexy either way tho
