96 Cherokee sport 2100000
When I'm driving over 35 mph i start to hear this rubbing noise from the front wheels somewhere.
But as i turn slightly to the left going over 35 mph, it gets louder, but when i am turning slightly to the right it goes away immediately and it sounds perfect.
i have been told it's the ball joint but it is making no clunks or bangs at all, just a rubbing or groaning noise.
any thoughts?

doubt ball joints mat be wheel bearing or front ujoint, jack up the front end and roll the tire slighty back and forth while watching the ujoint for play

I agree , not ball joints, bearing or do you have cv joints in the front on that 96,? I'm not sure.
