dumb question

I need to know the bolt sizes for a 1987 firebirds hood, my dad just got one and the PO had the hood bolted down without hinges, we got the hinges but they didnt come with the bolts to hold them to the fender or the hood.

Im not 100%, but the ones that go into the hood are metric fine thread...well, theyre both metric. The hood ones are like a 10mm, so the bolt is probably like a 8x1.0 or something. Try a junk yard if you have one local just to get a bolt out of each part to use as reference for new ones. I just dont have a thread pitch gauge or any way of knowing for certain what the size on those is.
