i haven't done anything to it yet, because i wanted your opinion on this first. i runs fine, but when i am at a stop, it heats up real quick. as soon as i get it moving, it cools down a little, and when i run the heat on low, it cools a little more, almost down to the n o t, but i really need to get this fixed. also, and this probably has nothing to do with it, but the 4x4 seems to want to kick in all the time. when i leave it in 2L, the lever seems to want to pull itself up into 4H. i'm gonna have a look at the shift linkage this weekend, see if maybe its loose. also when it's in 2L it sounds like i've got a loose bolt or something, cause it shakes and shimmies

Hey man...sorry to hear about your jeep. What's happening is that when you're at a stop not enough air is getting pulled through your radiator...this can be a few things. First (I know this sounds basic) but make sure the radiator is full...my bet would be your fan clutch. To check it your have to spin it by hand...car off of course...it should have a little drag when cold and be pretty stiff when hot...this pulls the air through the radiator when you're stopped. If it spins freely when hot it's bad. Sometimes you can see oil around the center where the fluid leaked out. Another possibility is that your radiator is a little stopped up...my I'd definitly look at the fan clutch first. Good luck.

took it back to the dealer. turns out one of the boltsthat held the fan onto the pulley sheared off 2x. they put a new stainless bolt on it and crossed their fingers on it. right now i have so much stuff crossed, i'm walkin funny
