Hangovers

So i was just wondering what everyone uses for hangovers.

I drink 2 litres of water with a scoop of eload (it's a sports drink that gives you all of your electrolytes in the same ammount as you sweat them out) and my multivitamine/multimineral. just to get all of my nutrients that i lost when i pissed those 5 or 6 litres lol. it works wonders for hangovers. i'm sure you could substitute gatorade for eload but it probably wont work nearly as well.

so, disguss.

I like to just roll around in discomfort all day on my bed. Or just go into work the next day remaining half drunk. Avoiding hangovers is for pussies. It's always fun to go to work hungover/drunk. You can just be a slacker all day and laugh because you know you aren't doing shit.

bottle of gatorade takes care of just about even the wickedess of my hangovers. Of course for the real bad ones I usually am so out of it i completely forget about drinking gatorade, therefore I suffer through them.

I used to never get hangovers. Then somehow during college my immunity wore off. At first I would just suffer through them and drink gatorade to try and speed up my recovery. But now, I just keep 2 advil in my pocket when I go out and as soon as I'm on my way home, or wherever I may be crashing for the night, I pop the advil and in the morning I'm good to go.

i just eat a healthy breakfast, and i usually feel better; 2 eggs, bread, ham or sausage... and milk. If i have an unbearable headache, though, i'll pop in 2 Advils

when i was a drunk back in the day (high school), everyone knew to refill their stomachs after a serious party that left killer hangovers. I always got myself a superb breakfast/lunch at a restaurant OR get a nice fattening greasy burger with some bacon on it and some gatorade and i'm good to go.

Bacon and Egg roll, with some Gatorade
Followed by a morning beer (hair of the dog) and a couple of cones (or bowls for you Americans). :p

Greasy breakfast with a bottle of powerade and two panadol.

Then, if necessary, a midday sleep, but haven't needed one of those in years.

drink a little of what you had the night before when you wake up
or drink some green tea is what I tell people to do and they work for them but i dont get hangovers......i just get headaches if im not drinking enough at the time so i speed it up and they go away with no after effects the next day.

First thing you drink the next morning is milk. It has all the nutrients and everything your body is lacking and it will rehydrate you. Any time I've had a hangover I've drank milk first thing and it went away pretty fast.

You're the first person I've heard of who doesn't get sick when drinking milk first thing in the morning.

Granted I don't drink much and I'm not nauseous in the morning. My head just hurts a little bit. Then again because I live in Wisconsin I drink like at least 1/2 a gallon of milk a day so my body is almost in withdrawel if I don't drink milk :D

I've had milk chasers before. Sounds like not the brightest idea, and for some people i bet its not, but I have no problems. That stuff can knock out grain alcohol in a second.

The exception being a rare White Russian... But even then, it's ONE and it's ranking about once a year that I can do it.

But it's after 9am, so I need to go find something... I'm getting my new driver's license picture taken today.

I only had White Russian once in my life. That was about 7 years ago now and I don't care to relive that day. As I recall, I left 7th period english to attempt to throw up in the bathroom :disappoin But I blame that more on the mixture of White Russian, 7-Clear, and whatever else it was I drank that day. high school was great :smokin:

Need a couple of drinks beforehand because you're self conscious about your driving?

Normally if it's one major hangover, puking, headache and so one I just suffer through it. I usually take asprin before drinking, then asprin before bed. Drinking lots of water either during the night of drinking or just before sleep.

The key is to find what gives you the least hangover. For me wine, vodka, whiskey, and everclear usually result in a great next day. Beer kills me.

Taking tylenol with alcohol is really bad. So just stay away from alcohol. Muscle relaxers are pretty fun.
