I have a problem with my A/C, recently i replaced the blower motor and the module underneath the pass side, and now not always but often, water leaks from where theblower is into the floor on the passanger side, specially when i turn left, once it starts leaking it hadly stops even turning off a/c sometimes not even a single drop, i went to the shop for review and a guy there said it was the drain hose that was blocked, so he clean it, but still the problem.
has anyone had the same problem im really desperated since can't drive with a/c off on 100+ temp down here south texas.
ps. i arelady blew another module trying to solve this problem, since seems that water gets into it.:banghead:

If the drain hose for A/C condensation is not the problem then you must have a leak at the cowling area. You may need new seals and a RTV application. The water drips down the inner firewall and onto the blower motor resistor, etc.

Are you getting a lot of rain? Also, you can clean the drain hose but maybe it is not seated or installed correctly. Finally, a cabin air filter may help if you do not have one installed.

rain, just a little and not often, whats the RTV? and you mean run a sealing thru the a/c system?

Silicone sealant, preferably black. At the base of the windshield is the plastic cowling piece. There is weatherstripping rubber underneath that seals the cowling to the HVAC intake system of the body and to the hood. The RTV sealant is needed to help seal off areas not sealing and prevent water from channeling over to the HVAC intake duct. Also, while that plastic cowling piece is removed check to see if you have a cabin air filter. The addition of one will help prevent water from coming in great amounts especially in the vent and A/C normal not recirculate positions.

I took mine to a windsheild repair facility and they fixed it for me. It was the cowl as Bnaylor stated. It came with a warranty on labor so I took it there instead of doing it myself.
