Where ? http://www.plauder-smilies.com/lmaa.gif
I would think Altezza's would have a apostrophe, because there are more than one right?

Jay!

Apostrophes are for contractions and possesives. So, your sig says either:

Your Altezza is are gay.

or

Your Altezza's [insert something that belongs to Altezza here] are gay

:D

kris

So, then, should it say, Your Altezza are gey? :bloated: or, your Altezzas are gey?

5/10, I crumbled, I hate English and We haven't learnt such things yet, I hate M/C questions with two possible answers, it's impossible.

I got me a 9/10, I confused "i.e." with "e.g.". :)

BTW, kb, a couple more misused apostrophies in your signature include the ones after the years of your cars, instead of before the years, which would show that the apostrophe is being used to replace the "19"

I am ashamed. 6/10.
I was once deemed the "Grammar Ninja" by my instructors at perhaps the best high school in Arkansas. That was a few year ago, I admit, but that's no excuse! I went back and looked at them all again and realized all but one were stupid mistakes. I honestly couldn't see that Lay should be used in that sentence! All the rest I kicked myself for. Especially the "feel bad" one. oy. ah well, I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology so who gives a damn!!!:flipa:

BTW, that i.e. vs e.g. one. I strongly believe that both are absolutely acceptable.

I could of answered: What the **** is grammar!?

My score 6/10 shows that i'm not very good at it, but considering that i speak 4 languages (english, spanish, german and french) and that i learned all of them by speaking on the streets, reading newspapers and watching TV i think i don't need grammar.
Just in case somebody hasn't read it correctly i say that I don't need grammar.

I have always been against learning grammar. Of course certain people need it, but not me. I think pronnounciation and vocabulary is more important.

btw. I'm Spanish and live in Spain so judge for yourself my level of english in this text.

I know proper grammar, but I never use it. People that use 100% perfect grammar all the time sound like old nerds. :D
