wow. I'm assuming he didn't get laid because of how he acted before all this. I think a better thread title would be, "Why not to date online".

wow, asswipe..
I think this whole realm of online dating+meeting people over the internet in person is just not only stupid, but bad.
I read an article, I forgot where. But it was evaluating on a study that some Universities did regarding teenage kids and online social networks like MySpace, FaceBook, even Instant Message.
They were saying how majority of the people who regularly chat online with other people lack most of the common in-person social skills that people not familiar with the online chat age are familiar with. They were also saying how it wasn't good that people stay and chat online instead of in person because it doesn't develop proper social skills like being outgoing in person and keeping up a conversation and being confident about it. I also remember that the studies showed that people who regulary chat online are more shy and less outgoin in person than they are online. I think timid is the adj to best describe those people.
The relation with that article and online dating and that vid, is that, it's amazing that some people would rely on the internet and dating sites to try and get, or maintain any kind of social relationship. WHy not just do it the old fashioned way, go out to the local hangouts, start talking to people, etc...

very interesting point, yet not too surprising. What I wonder is did they determine which is cause and which is effect? Quite possibly a good reason those people like to chat online is because they lack of social skills, not the other way around.
I especially have to wonder because I don't believe this doofus in the recordings is only strange because he chats online too much. I believe his semi-retarded personality is the largest contributor to the reason why he dates online and more than likely has no real-life friends.
I'm not nay-saying the study, because it makes perfect sense. But you also have to blame natural selection as well. This man wasn't born to reproduce, internet or no internet.

It's more or less common sense that people who chat too much on the Internets are social retards.

I love how he said "Don't be cheap". He's trying to sue over $50! Get over it! He could've made $50 by going to work for a day instead of badgering some girl who was smart enough to never wanna talk to him again
