Few question about turbo timer

My friend just introduce me, to his friend, that he can install turbo timer for me, I ask him how much ? he told me, it all depent what you want hook up to it. I have no ideal what else can you hook up to, turbo timer, beside the count down time for the turbo, I told him " what else can you hook up to ?" he told me " dont worried about it " $50 total. Can any one tell me, what else can you hook up to turbo timer ? is $50 good deal ? thanks
