tamiya impreza?

Has tamiya made an old version Impreza, like the fujimi ones

Unfortunately, they have not. The only old versions of the Impreza they have are of the '98 and '99 rally cars.
I have the Fujimi kit and I am planning a kit-bash effort to get the various required parts to build a replica of my own car. There are actually only a few parts I need from the Tamiya kit anyhow.
Otherwise the Fujimi kit is not at all bad, it is only the underbody that really lets it down....
