pop up headlight to fixed conversion?

did anybody ever hear of the pop-up headlight system in the 90-91 dsm being converted to the style of the fixed lights used by the 92-94 dsm?

does anybody know of any sites online that talks about it or other posts on af?
is this conversion possible? what would i need? i figured the hood, both left and right front fender panels, front bumper, headlight housing and probably some housing and other parts. i heard of it being done before but my mechanic told me about it but he didnt really know anything specific. ---

I believe the only other thing you need is the mounting brackets. You can also convert your pop up headlights so that they stay down. If you want to try that first, check out vfaq.com
