ABS and brake lights on?

My husband recently replaced the REAR disc brakes on our 95 Rodeo. A few days later the ABS and brake lights came on. Occassionally, when we apply the brakes there is a shuddering in the FRONT end. The front pads and rotors were replaced in the last four months. Got any suggestions?
