if you have any older siblings that have freinds in good manual labor jobs, you can get a good one. Like me for example, my sister intorduced me to this guy (my current boss, who is really funny and cool) and he hired me as his helper for tower work and maintinence and stuff. REally good hours (sometimes wrok 16 hours in a day) and really good pay (i make $18/hr, and that includes the time it takes to get to the various towers). So check out if theres any connections there, ya know.

Unfortunately I have no older siblings. I can only work 4-8(arghhh)
and full time on the weekends

What about a resturant! I went to Subway and Starbucks for a job! Neither was hiring, but there's a thought! Car wash place or a putt-putt area or go-cart course! (I'm naming places around me to give you an idea just clear that up! :D) Age could help us in giving ideas I do believe!

Nooooo don’t do it! I hate those people that do that at traffic lights. I’ve seen so many nearly get run over running in front of cars when the light’s gone green.

but come on, I always like it when people care enough to stand in the middle of heavy Greenlane traffic and give my windscreen a free clean :) :) :)

yeah I love it when someone puts their filthy squegee all over my perfectly clean windscreen and then wonders why I'm pissed when they ask for a handout... whaddya think Rain-X and the washer bottles for ?

Unless it's when we were in the truck after we'd been hunting and I then I politely ask a dude to clean the spotties and the headlights as well...

The guy wasn't entirely keen when he saw the owl wedged headfirst between the headlight and the radiator grille...

I did give him a decent fee for him to clean it off... though it did break off at the neck when he gave it a tug and he looked kinda queasy...

But seriously have thought of... doing odd jobs like...

...doing lawns... (cash in the hand)
...walking dogs... (I'm serious!)
...babysitting...
...tutoring elementary kids...
...caddying @ the golf club...
...washing cars...

Put up a few flyers at the local noticeboard... try get some customers
who will want the stuff done regularly... then you can plan to do say
two/three jobs in one day... if you can more than you do yourself see if
you can get some interested friends to pick up some work - and make
sure you're the one who gets paid and take a small fee for administration (after all you did the legwork)... that way you have cover when you're on holiday or you can roster yourself a few more hours when you need extra $$$'s.

If you're really successful - you find yourself just taking the calls and rostering everyone else and taking a cut. And lo and behold you've just become a business person!

Yup, most major car yards always want more, ring around. I've already got myself a spot doing this in November, when I finish school
