Might get rid of the camaro!

Well with gas prices on the rise past $3 a gallon and the way i drive my camaro gas is getting to be to much. So i think i am going to sell it for a toyota truck. It is a 4cylender so it will get good on gas and is 4x4 so i can always go off road. Sorry guys. It is not for shure yet, i still have to sell or trade mine befor i can get one.

WTF? come on man gas aint that bad, and i live in so cal. Man gas has been over 3bucks for ever, I spend 55bucks every 4days.

4x4 kills gas mileage. it wont be much better then the camaro.

ya but i will not be using the 4x4 all the time, and it is a stick, the guy said he got close to 30mpg on the highway at a low rpm.

well i just have to see if my parents will lend me the money till my car sells. If they do i am getting it, but don't worry, i am still ALL CHEVY!!! Just getting this for reliable and gas.

Then get a chevy car.. i'd keep the Camaro and having the 4x4 will kill gas mileage anyway even if you dont use it.

the guy gets 28mpg with it, and i always wanted another truck so i think i will get it. I will get another camaro later, maybe a eairly year 3ed gen.

Don't get rid of it, just be more conservative when you drive it. Or, use the money and buy a cheap 4 cyl beater car. You'll be very sad once you have no more maro. I told myself I will always have a V8, no matter what the gas prices are.

Geo idea for the win. I bought a 91 Geo tracker for 1grand and get 32 mpgs city/hwy. The LS-1 gets 16 city (damn lead foot) and 32 hwy.. :)
Plus my insurance dropped for a multi car discount. Oh yeah my geo is 4x4 :)

or better yet purse snatching. Not only do you get some exercise and save on gas but its a good way to get some extra cash and since you need to get away quick its faster than walking.

I always hate hearing these gas prices complaints. I listen to them all day long. I'm certain that I'm as poor as anyone could be and I'll continue to pay it as long as it fuels my car. I'll always want a faster, more powerful car, no matter what the cost. I bought the CBR by the way because it's fast, it's just an added bonus that it gets good gas mileage.

well, i don't think i am getting rid of it now, i can't sell the camaro and come up with the money in time for the bifd on the truck to end. the bid ends tomarow night. So it looks like more camaro.

sorry,but it might be sold now,lol. sorry. This lady at my work wants to buy it, she will let me know tomarow. i am selling it for $2,200, cheep as hell, i payed $2,500 for it and put some money in it.

well the camaro will stay, i am not going to sell it. I will keep it for good!! i don't know why i wanted to get rid of it any way, it actualy gets about the same a like 1mpg as that truck. The truck only got 25mpg at the best on the high way at low rpm.

Obviously.. the awd system will always kill it..

You should know better than to get rid of the 'maro anyways. I would like to get me another v8 3rd gen but will probably buy a new bike instead.

I stay in mississippi and I drive my v6 camaro everyday and it costs me $60 a week. I consider myself lucky when I look at these people driving these SUVs so I would def keep my camaro. Its a classic car, don't give it up.

Go buy a mid 90's bike for like 500-1000... like 6 said, 40-50 MPG is nothing on those and your the fastest thing in the world. AC always works too.

My bike took like 4 gallons and I could go a couple weeks w/o refueling it. The again I didn't drive it EVERY day, but maybe 4-5 days a week. Funner than shit too.

I ride my bike every day it's not raining and it usually takes me between $7 and $11 to ride all week.
