Dash pad seperation on my 2000??!!!!

:screwy: Has anyone else had problem with their dash pad seperating. The pad on my 2000 seperated and stands up like a hood air scoop directly in front of the instruments. Dealer tells me it can't be reglued and that I need to spend almost $1,000. for a new pad and labor. I need suggestions.

They're full of it! My wife's 01' saturn had a problem with the bottom of the dash in front ot the instruments separated from the top (heat related, I'm sure). All I did was pull the 2 pieces apart and filled the gap in with jb weld, put the dash parts back together and after 3 minutes of drying the problem was fixed! Of course, the problem we had wasn't too severe, I can't tell how bad your LeSabre dash is but I'm betting it's something you could fix yourself for less than 5 bucks!
