Ok with the push of ethanol becoming greater I was wondering if there is a conversion kit for older vehicles? So is anyone aware of any conversion kits, or if any are being planned?

I haven't seen any "kits" because in order to allow E-85, the entire fuel delivery system would need to be changed to more corrosion resistant materials. Ethanol is notorious for absorbing water which can wreak havoc on fuel plumbing made from steel, low-grade stainless, and aluminum. Any conversion would have to be a custom job.
One thought might be is if your particular vehicle line was offered with the FFV (flexible fuel) option. If so, then you would have to track down all of the parts changes in order to convert your vehicle to accept E-85...likely a time-comsuming and expensive process, which might even involve an ECM replacement or reprogram in order for the engine management system to adapt to the different fuel.
To my knowledge, Jimmys were never produced with the flexible fuel option...but going the custom route with knowldegable mechanics and deep pockets, it's not impossible. The cheaper route would be to just go and buy a used FFV and keep the Jimmy for fun! Good luck!

The "deep pockets" would have to include a few million $ for the EPA. You would have to go through all the EPA certifications that the vehicle originally passed. The EPA has already shut down many who have tried to sell kits.
