Get this...(long rant)
So back in late April I find a set of used '90-93 'teg front calipers on eBay. I win the auction & total + shipping comes out to, like, $45. A week goes by, then two. I'm e-mailing the guy to see what's up (he's got all positive feedback & people who won his auctions after mine were raving about the fast shipping).
He responds to all my e-mails & insists he sent them out on May 9th. So I figure, he's not trying to dodge me, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Finally June rolls around, the calipers still haven't showed up & I left on a 3-week road trip. Come back & still no calipers... w/e.
Last week I find another set (this time, complete with performance pads & stainless lines - for $65 shipped!!), so I win them & wait patiently for them to arrive...
Tuesday I come home from work & there's a box at the front door. I'm thinkin'...the FedEx website said they wouldn't be here 'til Friday... Look at the box a little closer... Sure as shit, the calipers I ordered 2-1/2 months ago finally showed up  (and yes, they were, in fact, shipped on May 9th...)
The second set arrived yesterday.
Go figure. Now I have two pairs of 'teg front calipers
Point of the story, USPS SUCKS, and I have an extra set of calipers if anyone needs them :icon16:

Well now you tell me
There's no yards around here, and they weren't listed frequently on eBay... Plus I didn't want to buy new/reman'd ones...
Oh well...

Umm...you need to PM me! :grinyes:
The only thing keeping me from ordering the FastBrakes kit is my trip to Austin next week!
So what you got? Rotors? If so, I'm interested :D

honda oem prelude rotors brand new never used, redrilled to 100x4 and legend calipers, have to run atleast 15" wheels. I may be using the rotors on my escort. I was going to do that combo on my civic but ended up getting some aluminum four piston calipers.

Well, I had planned on using the FastBrakes 11" upgrade kit (http://fastbrakes.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=28_37_117&products_id=102) with their 'blank' rotors...but I'm open to whatever...

we ordered an ITR front clip. it was shipped by www.overnite.com which is an UPS company.
it was hit in the front by a forklift hard enough to knock the radiator out of its supports. both fenders were caved in and the hood looks like somebody did a mexican hat dance on it.
I filed a claim. jennifer was a lot of help taking my info and letting me fax the invoices. at that point it was transferred to calvin the claim guy who has yet to answer the phone or return even 1 of my 7 voicemails. I get a letter saying my claim is denied due to my distrubitor's failure to supply his shipping reciept. call my guy and they never contacted him.....
for future reference:
if this ever happens to anybody check your local phonebook in the government pages for transportation. we called them. apparently you can file with them and they do their own independant investigation and then take actions. apparently these shipping/frieght companies can only have so many complaints a year or they are big time fined. it will be in their best intrest to settle with me as my dist. has pics of the clip in perfect condition before it left. i'm only trying to get $1400 back to replace the busted beyond repair parts
i'm pretty bent on the whole thing as its been going on several months. :banghead:

I can relate with you Ami. I had my toolbox shipped from NY to Phoenix when I moved. Took pictures of it before it left, unwrapped, then boxed, then going on the overnite truck. Got here late, my boss signed for delivery on it. I noticed it was boxed up completely different than when it left so now it was laying on its back instead of standing up. I unwrapped it, a forklift got the backside of it pretty good. The top box is screwed, the chest doesnt open all the way and now it wont lock either. They are trying to not do a thing about it for me. Heres a picture or two... sorry for the size
