hey guys so i dumped that ol' b18a1 that you had see in the pics...none a' you guys liked it but it did have some serious potential enyways. I just bought a b18b1..and i know its a motherf...to swap obd-0 to obd2 but i will do it!...I will have some cash to guide my way!and i am happy with it..it looks liek new...i got it from a smashed up 97' teg the whole engine bay was mint so i got the harness, ecu and well motor...axles were fu$%^% and so were the links(shifter links)......i did not take the tranny as i couldnt afford it and its hydro...not feelin' the hydro..im a cable kinda' man....so im jus going to run to the local scrapyard and grab a cable tranny from this 92 gs thats sittin there...i am planning to rip apart the b1 in a week or so to start on the rebuild... tell me what you guys think...and i'll have the pictures in a day or so in this tread....!!!

you can run that motor obd0 or 1 if you want. Switching obd's isnt hard these days with raywire harness' and shit.

Or my harnesses for 1/3 the price! Plus, I specialize in 4th gens/ DA tegs.
You don't want to convert to OBD2, it would be stupid. Just use OBD0 B18a distributor, ecu, injectors.

so what ...your sayin i can just put an obd-0 dist on and then i can use and obd-0 harness...like i mean,,,say there was an 88-91' acura rs...what would i need off of it to get my b1 up and running and what problems would i run into...I don't mind problems....and you were saying that you can get me a harness conversion for 1/3 of the price.....I'll be a customer for shur...I have been shearching everwere for this one swap...a b18b1 going into a 89 civic si...and i have had no luck...i have found b1's going into 92 dx and like every kind of car BUT an 89 si????? but if you guys know of a link to an amazing swap guide for this one...then that would be great..and if i can get this done in an easy way..then that would be nice...but either way i am ripping apart the engine.......so eny suggestions would be awsome...

If you plan on doing anything serious in the future (big cams, boost, etc) Go OBD-1. You can use the OBD-2 dizzy, the internals are the same as OBD-1.
