There is a resin company that makes that version(model years) VW van and I think the 2 door truck. Does anyone remember that company, and their contact info? If still available. Thanks!:)
P.S. Also, does anyone know where that resin 914 widebody was?

Hasegawa also produced these VW vans in plastic kits in 1/24 scale.

Frank, if you actually get one of those "bay window" vans please share the nitty gritty! I've heard of the resin but haven't ever seen one.
There was a widebody 914 rally car resin on Ebay recently; went for big $$ and pics weren't useful to see quality or lack thereof. Ed Cervo lists one on his Islandcollectibles catalog, again pic is far too small. I've only heard "rough" when described.
I have a minty-fresh Revell Richie Ginther 914 competition kit that I'm planning on making into a widebody and a very detailed book to help with details, or perhaps take a friend's derelict 914 for the cause. Plans are to do it in a way that it can be cast. It won't be happening soon though.

I can just imagine Bob:) In one of my Suby mags, someone made a 914 widebody with an EJ20 block. They left the sides of teh car in bare metal(cleared and treated) and orange middle. I'll try to ...take pics of the mag:(
