I'm just looking for advice with car covers. Anybody here ever heard of them?:cwm27: maybe used them? Just wondering if the stories that I've heard are true that if you use them they will harm your paint. I assume the people who say this are using a tarp:icon16: . Seriously though, I'm just trying to find a decent one. any help is appreciated!

dont buy a chapo one. I guess i've never seen something like this in consumer reports magazines, but i never have looked either. Maybe check there. My dad had a custom one made from somewebsite for his 1948 chrysler convertible. It costed a pretty penny, but its great. Wish i knew the website. Also, autoanything.com might have some decent prices on stuff like that.

Yup, you need a material that sheds water from the outside, but allows air and moisture to pass through from inside out...to keep paint damage and rust/corrosion from occuring...

Sounds like a job for Goretex to me...I'm sure that's not cheap in car cover size, but they do have them...
