This was my '80s contest entry that didn't quite make the deadline.Thanks to Clay Kemp for the inspiration.

Nice looking sprint car.
If the car was photo'd on some dirt, it'd pass for the real deal in some of those shots.

this really turned out great, very realistic looking. too bad you didnt make the contest but still you have one great build here.

Fantastic model.Not really my type of car but I can appreciate the serious work you have put into this.I agree with CADguy,placed on some dirt it would pass for the real thing! Outstanding! Shame you never finished it in time for the competition.It would have got one of my votes for sure.

Thanks for the compliments guys.I had to go away for work in the final week leading up to the comp deadline.I was dissapointed I didn't make it.I only missed it by a couple of days.I've already got the next one under way.Will start a progress thread soon.
