Hey, i'm shopping for a new car and i was just wondering what the difference was between a dx, lx, and ex. also, some say lx se, what does the se mean.
i tried a search but didn't find anything.

DX's and CX's are like the low end. VX's came equipped with vtec-e, for economy and EX's are top of the line with vtec, sunroof, power everything, ect. They are also the heaviest because of all that. What differences, more specifically, are you looking for?

I think the 6th gen CX's were, but I don't think the 5th gens had it.

I was just wondering the difference cause i'm looking for a ~'95 civic and didn't know what they meant. what's the difference in the engine (other than the ex with vtec)

But is that site of USDM Civics or CDM Civics? Can't tell because this computer is having trouble loading that site.

The specs seem to match up with USDM the only thing is that the US didn't get EX-R or SI Hatch. So I guess to answer your question, its based on CDM but applicable to USDM
