speedometer problem

I bought 1998 Leganza just few days ago, quite good condition, drove nearly 30 miles, no problems, it has hydraulic clutch, needed clutch adjustment, so did it myself, somehow after that speedometer started working intermittently, while driving sometimes speedometer doesnt work as if cable is not connected and suddenly it starts working. I have some schemetic - service manual for Nubira (not for Leganza), found some point from some topic that the other end of that speedometer might be connected to transaxle..
I dont want to get into dashboard to look for the trace but if anybody has any idea where could be the other end (transaxle end)..
Or any other help to repair it would be great..

I have a service manual. From that, I think the 'other end' is a Speed Sensor, which locate in the middle of the engine cabin.

Please post a fix for this if you figure it out I am having the same problem with my 2000 leganza.
