ok so i am getting a '87 grand prix. it is in great condition it just needs a few repairs that i plan on repairing. like the carborator, and i dont know what else but there i s more. it is a yellowish goldin color. and has a T roof. how much do you think i could sell it for? it has a 8 cylinder 5.0 liter engine 4 speed automatic transmission. i an considering selling i to buy a car that i could use to drive in (sounds kinda stupid but i dont want to wreck the GP) and i am only 16 and i dont have a car yet :( so if i sold it it would help me buy a car that i wouldnt mind driving..

The best thing to do to give you an idea of the value of your car is to use the on-line NADA or Kelley guides. nada.com or kbb.com.

Since you've already decided that you are going to wreck your car, make sure you have your seat belts on and possibly get one with air bags too. Your parents may want to have an open casket and an air bag will minimize the damage. Sorry if that's a little harsh.

lol, no thats not to harsh. but by wrecking it i didnt mean that i was going to hit at wall at 100 mph, on purpose. but that if i am driving it and i accidently scrape up against something if it is a old crapy car i wont mine but if it is the grand prix i would mind, plus if i am in a parking lot and someone door bashes me i would have to pay to get it fixed, when it wouldn't matter as much if someone bashes a car that is already looking a little sketchy.

Glad to hear you are being responsible and safe. I don't think it would hardly matter on a 20 year old car. Most of us old geezers would have driven anything when we were 16. Good luck with the car.
