alright
im going to remove the motor out myself, most likely threw the top....
what needs to be pulled and yanked first?,its a 95 Z28 with a six speed.
i have a cherry picker and the nifty thing that turns motor inside the engine bay. I dont want to drop several grand for a speed shop to do it, i would rather give them the motor then the whole car.
help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I take you decided to go out the top?
This is a link I saved to my favorites a while ago about dropping threw the bottom which I haven't attempted yet but was very close and Just used the top method I was use to like 3 times. http://www.michiganspeed.com/enginepull/index.html

Out the top you need to remove the fans, radiator, a/c condenson, tranny cooler, steering linkage, brake vacuum line, harness needs to be disconnected from all sensors, fuel rail , remove the 6 bellhousing bolts and place a jack with a piece of wood inbetween on the tranny pan, motor mount bolts (I take out the intake manifold to make it easier but I hear you can leave it on. Its also a good idea to remove as many accessorys as possible but the power steering pump definetly needs to come out. Thats all I remember for now but will update/edit if I remembers anything else.

Oh and the hood strut lower bolts need to be removed to allow the hood to open wide enough to be able to fit the engine out the top. I found a broom stick in by the air filter area worked well.

thank you, its must appreciated
i spun a rod bearing, and the crank has got to be damaged also. its a hell of a lot cheaper to have a speed shop fix just the block, than it is to hand them the whole car
