I'm getting a trouble code of 12155 or possibly just 22155 on my 1997 Dodge Intrepid with a 3.3L V6. It has 116,000 miles. The engine seems to be operating fine, and sounds normal. Any ideas?

I assume your reading the code with your check engine light. Try it again.. click key on - off - on- off-on.
Last code there in both is 55 (Mil Codes are 2 digits) 55 means end of codes. No probs with this code.
Your 1st may be 12 if so that mean the battery has been dissconected within the last 50 starts. No probs with this code.
You possibly have a code 21 which is O2 sensor. Your check engine light should be coming on with this code though. A lot of the time this is due to a bad connection in the wiring. Check the plugs to the sensors, unplug them and plug them back in making sure they lock back in. also at the firewall on the passenger side check all the plugs there also. Then take it for a good highway ride half hour to an hour then check your codes again. If you still get the code then it could be a bad O2 sensor or a faulty MAP sensor can cause the O2 code also. Has the fuel mileage changed? If so I would guess an O2 sensor and you may end up getting a code 51 after a good highway trip as the PCM will try to compensate for a lean burn.
Cheers

Thanks! Just to clarify... I did have the "check engine" light come on, which prompted me to check for codes. I don't believe the mileage has changed, but I usually gauge my mileage by how many miles I get per tank, and I've used less than 1/4 tank since the "check engine" light came on.

Still check all the connections, including the O2 sensor plugs. Make sure to remove any corrosion & dirt. then see what happens. If you still get codes, you may want to pay the money to chrysler for their diagnostic.
