Is that a two part (two stage) or two chemical components that aremixed then sprayed? Any brand names you would recomend?

PPG is what I'd use. Definitely use a two part acrylic urethane. Two part means theres a catalyst and a base.

Yeah, two parts: clear coat and hardener. The manufacturer tells you the ratio to mix them and that's all.
Brand names... I use Dupont, their products are great. PPG or Sikkens are very good as well.

Call your local auto paint shops...
Don't be surprised if you have trouble buying a quart or less and end up paying $40!

Is it a spray on application or brush on? Will it work if i spray it through my airbrush? And also, will it eat my decals? Thanks again you guys are a big help.

I use Omni 2 part acrylic urethane. It is a PPG product I believe. It It is a 4:1 ratio clear to hardener. I spray it straight through my brush with no thinning about 40 psi. I have had GREAT results from it. I have sprayed it over revell decals with no issues what so ever.
Also I bought a quart plus the hardener and I think I spent about 30 bucks.
