excuse me! i am not emo..i'm way more preppy than emo. i just like emo music. and i'm not a little girl anymore, i turned 18 in april. so there. and in nicole's defense, she's cool too :)

I think some people have a severe missconception of what EMO is all about. It has nothing to do with poetry, or suicidal thoughts, or music, or being hip and trendy. It's all about tight pants, and tight shirts.
Nothing deeper to investigate. That's about it. If you don't have the balls to become a real loser, like a goth, but you still have enough self respect not to become a grunge rocker - and you like wearing tight pants - you simply fall into that crowd. Hardly spectacular or meaningful in anyway.
So, emo = tight pants.

lets not forget that if the tight pants are your sisters, all the better
