hood advice needed!!

I have a 96 GTP 3.4 DOHC......i need to get a new hood because my other one got all dented when my friend sat on it....dont get me started... any way, im looking for a nice looking hood like ram air or carbon fiber or something nice to match the headlight covers...but i cant find one anywhere... can anyone help me? thanks

Their is a great site that offers many parts for the Grand Prix of many years. www.partsforyourcar.com or www.PFYC.com (same site). i believe they have two different ram-air hood styles.

Same problem... you have the older body gp do you not?(if '96)? If like mine, which mine also has a 3.4 tdc( a '93 though), than your going to have 'fun' trying to find good upgrades... the newer 3.8 gp's have more customizations. the web site recommended above shows this because... it has no older gp upgrades... just 97->up... i was just thinking about taking a junked hood and making a custom hood scoop for my intake... does your hood have louver hood scopes already on it (should if a early model gtp)???

ya mine has the louvers....and i'm ripping my hair out
trying to find anything for it...my friend might do a paint job on my hood for me...paint the v-area in between the louvers gloss black....but im glad someone feels my pain..thanks dude

Yea it's hard to find parts for and not so easy to work on sometimes... but i love my car... Actually i was surprised today to find out that Advance Auto Parts has a performance chip for my car, with the 3.4 tdc. They didn't even have one for my friend's truck, but sure enough they had one for $210 for my GP3.4. I didn't even see it on their website... and i'll probably end up buying it soon... tell me if you find a good hood(parts) supplier for your gp... i'll still be looking....
