Replaced tranny and driveline, everything was fine, drove to town about 12+ miles got gas, drove half way home and truck stopped in middle of highway. Truck has only ran 2x over past 3 days for no longer than 1 minute at a time. We've replaced the starter, the selinoid, the ignition module, the voltage regulator, the coil, cleaned all spark plugs. It seems that the distributor is not getting any spark!?!?!?! The engine tries and tries to start but it just wont fire. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!
Truck info, it might help:
1979 ford f150 4x4
with a 351m borred to a 400
400 heads
performer 400 edelbrock intake manifold
holley 4 barrel carb
hedmen headers
3" flow master exhaust
:banghead:

Okay so you say it seems that your dizzy's not getting any spark? and you've replaced the coil? If not I'd go thorugh replace coil cap rotor wires and plugs. Might fix your situation. Unless it's a fuel issue. In which case Mechanical or Electric fuel pump? If mechanical I'd suggest replacing with an Electric. Not a hard job to do.
This may fix your problem.
If not let me know.

Ohh one more thing.. What condition where the plugs in? Colour? Build-up? where they soaked when you pulled them out? If that's the case you might just be flooding the motor out something feirce.. Check your oil.. Check the viscosity of it. See if it has a gas smell to it or not.
