AC Not cool @ all !!!

90 325I convertible... I just recently had my AC filled up recharged or whtever U want to call it. The guy said the car should get to 40 degrees nut @ its coldest Im feeling 60 degrees. I have no leaks in the system the fan is working properly and it is fully charged but it does not get cold @ all. Any Ideas ??

Well AC systems are designed to only cool outside air on average about 20 degrees. well if u are some what technical look at the sight glass, i have a 91 318, it is on the Reciever drier it is in the engine compartment in the front on the passenger side it should have a glass cover look at it while the A/C is running. If it looks Streaky like with oil it is most likely a faulty Reciever Drier if it is bubbly it means there is a leak in the system somewhere.

DITTO that. Your a/c will only cool based on the outside temp. If your getting 60 degrees out of her I'd say its working fine in most cases.
