Am I losing it?

Ok, so tonight I was walking my dog and I saw a stock lx sedan drive by and I was like "I remember those times" and was thinking about how loud my car is past 70 mph, and I was thinking, maybe I should get a stock muffler again.

I dunno, maybe I am reminicing on when my car wasnt modded, but sometimes I dont like all the attention (cops and people who diss the car) that goes along with having the muffler.

Am I crazy, does anyone else ever have these thoughts?

naw your not crazy, the attention is why most people quit i mean the cops just love fucking with all the import guys all the time. my friend has been pulled over 3 times and not once givin a a ticket, he was once held for 2 hours but nothing happened. i dunno i am doing all the mods but i get little attention and it's nice but i get looks and stuff it's so annoying

Yeah, I guess i'm not. I was talking to my dad and he was like "your car is more desirable with that muffler, and it sounds nicer than most of the other ones ive heard" and this is coming from a 55 yr old who doesent really care and hasnt modded a car his entire life (other than foglights on the old s-10 blazer) He did however suggest I take the fake bullet holes off cause those are probably attracting unwanted attention, I think I will do it.

As far as my next car(s) go the plan is to get a grey 96+ civic HX as a commuter car, and do the stereo and this headlight mod

And then get a 90+ integra coupe and soup that up as "the go car"

every day. that is why i'm building a vw. so when the si gets me down i can roll "under cover" in a normal car. :)

I roll in my moms accord once in a while, its stock.

:D even more of a reason to get yourself a $300 civic! hoopties require less money to drive (literally). you spend less on things like tires & struts...you save even more not buying rims & other after market parts :licker:

thats what i did with my 80 accord hb.....its my winter beater, but i wanna make it rally and shit...but will leave it stock.

I think about going to the stock exhuast nearly every day, but its just too restrictive and I don't know where I can find one for a reasonable price. :D :p

in ebay this guy sell 2 1/2 cat back exaust that it mounts in factory position and it is pretty quiet. my friend bought it and barely give you any restriction
