jag performance into a cutlass?????

HEy. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could put a turbo 400 tranny into my 77 cutlass. I have heard of that for my jag but never for the cutlass. Then when I was working on the engine, one of my neighbors suggested to put that in.Let me kno.
