clutch replacement 2004 maxima se

Can someone tell me what it takes to R&R the clutch assy. can I just remove the trans. or does the entire eng/trans. need to be removed as an assy. Thanks to all answers.

wow you have to remove the engine craddle on a 04 max to get the tranny out the engine needs to be supported up with engine brace

Thanks for your answer, now it's time to decide to do it myself or take it in.
