Removing fuel lines - How???

Had a problem that I diagnosed as being a bad injector on my daughter's 1995 Firebird 3.4. Have got everything off to get to the injectors except the two fuel lines sticking in the fuel rail. All I can see is the fuel line sticking into the fuel rail. The fuel lines have a lip that is just above the fuel rail. I tried gently prying them up, but no luck. This is not the quick disconnect fittings. What do I need to do???

Thanks

Actually, believe it or not, those are quick connect fuel lines. You need to use the quick connect tool to remove them. I'm sure you can find it at your local auto parts store. Here's an example of what they look like just incase you need it:

I can't find the proper tool. I have the little tool for the quick connects but not a tool that disengages the metal fuel lines from the fuel rail. I have checked the auto parts stores and all they have is the one for the quick connect fitting.

The fuel lines that I am referring to bend at a right angle and go directly into the fuel rail. These metal fuel lines have a collar that is part of the fuel line right at the level of the fuel rail. Understand that the collar is part of the fuel line itself and not an add on. People tell me there is a tool to take these fuel lines off but, I have yet to find it. I have tried putting pressure using the collar as a prying point to get the lines out but, no luck. It is not the same thing as the quick connect fittings further up the fuel line that needs the special tool readily available at the auto parts stores.

Can anyone tell me where I can find this tool? It is not at Advance or Autozone.

Oh ok gotcha, I thought you were referring to where the fuel lines coming from the tank, and then meet the lines that then go to the fuel rail. What I did with those was just twisted the lines left and right while also pressing upwards with my other hand on the lines, and they popped right out. Give that a try, just move and twist them back and forth.

EDIT: Also, when I did it I already had the quick connect part of the fuel lines disconnected, so that the lines you are referring to may freely be moved around. So disconnect those if you already havent yet.

Make sure the system is depressurized. Sometimes when it's not they're a pita to get apart, which is kind of a good thing,
