They sell many performance parts for these, but what year? Fuel Injected? More info!

The aftermarket is almost nonexistant. You can get an intake for another car & mod it to fit. Exhaust can be made, though a simple muffler replacement can help.

You may be thinking of Ford's other 2.3, the OHC motor used in the Ranger, Mustang, etc. The 2.3 HSC pushrod motor is exclusive to the Tempo/Topaz, though a 2.5-liter version was used briefly in the Taurus/Sable.
