Installing EBAY ECU

How do you install an ECU from ebay for a 95 accord vtec?

Any tuning need to be done?

How long does it take?

does it harm the engine?

Are you talking about totally replacing the ECU or is it one of those chips? If it's the ecu, then you just unbolt the bracket that's holding the ecu to the chassis, unplug the ecu and do the opposite for the new one. If it's one of those cheap e-bay chips, I would hope it would come with some instructions. But those e-bay chips are garbage. You may gain a few hp, but you'll also hurt your gas mileage.

if its the chip... the only place it should be installed is in your garbage.... if its a pre chipped ECU (P28) then you need it tuned with a wideband O2 sensor and a tuning program. If you dont have either of these, dont install it and take it to a tuner who will install and tune it for you otherwise YES it can harm your engine...big time....
