help choosing amp for 8ohm bandpass

I have 2 500watt (300watt rms) 12s in a bandpass box running at 8 ohms so 600watt rms total, ive installed single subs at 4ohms bridged but i dont see any amps that say the power handling at 8ohms, is there anything i need to know, like is 8ohms bad for the amp or will it not sound good?

i was checking out this amp because it has a high RMS (480 watts) and it doesnt cost too much but i dont know what to expect from the 8ohm bandpass, the specs say 480 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

any help would be apreaciated

looks like no replies.. the system seems to be working great, im very surprised how well that 250$ system sounds, very powerfull. it may sound nicer in a trunk than my hatch back though. the bandpass i used was the dual XNBP12D and the amp a 1,000watt profile

Any amp will run with an 8 ohm load, it just won't make as much power. Low loads are what can be dangerous for amps. Do you have dual 4 ohm subs wired in series? If that's the case, I suggest runnning each one to its own channel on the amp. They will be alot louder.

the crutchfield website said nothing about the subs besides the bandpass with them was 600w rms. it says 8ohm but i talked to a tech and he said they had no information on the speakers themselves but he assumes they are 8ohms per speaker and wired to produce 4 or somthing like that, the site says 8ohms but i noticed the the box physically says 4ohms, i

from what i gather they are each offbrand 1000w speakers but that 600w RMS together with a tuned bandpass is nice, you can already feel the seats shaking along with every hair on your head and they are only pushin 480w, I have another 600w (300w rms) amp and was kinda wondering if could use 1 amp for each 8ohm speaker and have a full 300watts to each speaker but i dont think my alternator would last very long.
