Starter Problems

:banghead: i have a 1990 supra 7mge and starter wont engage i have tested and te starter is good but when i connect it to the engine it wont run i tested the wire and only 6 volts come out please explane and help me.

You may have a dead battery. You should be getting 12V.

oh the battery is not dead just bought it all i know is im getting 6 v out of all wiers that connect to the starter do u know y:banghead:

What is the battery voltage. The starter is hooked directly to the battery.
