Do you have a 2 door coupe or 4 door sedan?

Just where exactly is it getting hung up or binding. Unless some part of the unibody was damaged, door to body alignment must be done at the hinges.

Are you sure the bottom of the door frame (body side) wasn't damaged in the mishap? How does the door alignment look otherwise. The air gaps between the front fender and to the rear passenger door? The top of door relative to the roof? Adjusting a door can be very tedious and a PITA of a job. Another area where you can adjust the door is at the latch/striker plate on the door frame. Check to see if it got loosened. Two Torx type bolts hold it on. One way to check this is whether the door is latching properly. Note that adjusting a door may not compensate for structural damage to the unibody. You may have to take it to a body shop and have them fix any damage. Good luck!
