Completed - Nissan Skyline - Do-Luck

After quite a while of working on this one, I've finally finished it. This is the Tamiya V-Spec II Skyline kit, with Scale Auto Style Do-Luck resin body kit and wing.

The resin transkit attached with no drama, cutting the front fenders open to make the vent was tricky. The finished result is very nice though.

I painted this with Cobra Colors Daytona Blue Metallic. A 350Z factory color. The interior is royal and light blue.

The wing was covered in CF, cleared and polished out. I used the Nismo wheels that came in the kit. They were sprayed aluminum and clearcoated.

Very nice colour and an excellent finish. The rear wing looks good in the carbon fibre.Smart job on the rear lights as well. Are they the brake discs that come with the kit??? they look nicely detailed if they are.

Wow. I've never seen a Skyline make that face before. Someone must be getting a little too friendly with its Fairlady. :evillol:

Is that the V-Spec II NACA duct, coaxed to a new location?

Thanks guys.

stevenoble - Those brakes come in the Tamiya Skyline Vspec II kit. The fronts are drilled, and the rears are solid. They were painted metalizer aluminum and then washed with Tamiya smoke.

Fubaz - That front end looks really mean and grumpy to me. :) The hood is resin, and came as part of the SAS transkit.

Looks amazing. I love the agressive body kit with just... blue paint. Great! Clean as always, and everything works just right. I love how you can take something as outlandish as a Do-Luck bodykit on a Skyline, and make it look so subtle.
