Killed and then did...something? with a Mustang

My friends suck. Its simple as that. I had a chance to get advanced tickets to Pirates, so I called some freinds, and they all said they couldn't go, so I decided screw it. I got a call from the friends I had called, and they said they had just gotten out of the movie, and that sucked. I had another freind ditch on me and we were supposed to go test drive some cars. And another one that was supposed to get me a hook up on a job decided not to.

And Elchico now has me addicted to that Shakira song. The one about her hips. Thats the worse, and I hate him for it now.

So I decided to go blow off some steam tonight, and went out for a short cruise, ended up getting two races against Mustangs.

First one was one of those mid 90 GTs, not the Fox Body, but the one right after it. I had been tailing him through a bit of traffic, and we managed to catch a light. He reved it a few times, so I looked over and nodded, and he gave me the thumbs up. Holy shit, a non dick Mustang owner...

Anyways, I kill the traction controll, bring it up to about 2k on the tach, and get a decent launch when the light goes green. He stays with me through first, maybe getting about a nose up. Second comes and I start to pull on him, taking him by a little more than a nose, pull through third, up through fourth, and shut down at 110 with his nose at my rear door. I hit the brakes, we were going pretty quick in a 40, and he pulls up next to me and gives me a thumbs up. We talked at the next light, he was actually really cool for a Mustang owner. He said he had an exhaust, and that was it. He said he wasn't too suprised about the kill and the light went green and we went our seperate ways.

Next, well, it wasn't a race but it was something, was against one of the new V6 Stangs. I've heard they are anywhere from high fourteens to mid fifteens, so I was thinking it would be a good run. We were on the highway, and he was moving real quick through some light traffic, so I followed, hoping I could line up next to him before he tried anything. I never got the chance, but when the three lane opened up into a fourth lane, I jumped into third around 60ish, and right before I punched it, he did, jumpining into the open lane. I halted his pull pretty quick, he was only about three lengths in front of me when we both punched it, and I slowly started to pull him back in. I was about two, maybe two and 1/4 lengths back when he hit his brakes. Ok.

I ended up next to him, and he had his window down so I rolled mine down to ask if he wanted to go. We were going about 65, and right as I pulled up next to him, my nose just behind his front wheel, he hit it again. He got up on me fast, I hit it maybe after he had his tail at my nose, and when I had shut down on the last run, I had been at about 95, so I was in fourth. I jumped down to thrid, now he was a good three lengths up, and I stopped his pull, not really pulling on him hard, more of one of those slow kind, and when I had gotten within two lengths, he shut down again. Damnit, hes being a bitch.

He exits the highway, and I follow him off, and we end up next to each other at a red light. He gives me the Vin Diesel I'm a hard ass look, with one hand on the wheel and the other out the window, with some really bad rap blasting, and he revs it a few times. I bring it up to about 1500,and get a decent jump off the line. I pull about four or five lengths on him, and I'm like, ok, he never went, he just reved. As soon as I let off, he came screaming by me, and I'm thnking what a douche.

Get up next to him at the next red light, more revving, this time he launches as do I, we are door to door, and he shuts down at maybe 40. This is in 45 mph area. I say fuck it, I'm tired of this and at the next light, he revs more. I just shake my head and wave him off. When the light goes green, he punches it, goes flying off, and hits his hazzards. I was gonna give him a ricer fly by, and maybe the bird, but I was tired, and decided to get my starbucks then head home.

V6 owner sounded like a dick, but not giving him the fly by or bird was prolly better, just wouldve given him something more to bitch about or brag to his friends.

Geez. That ending would have me real pissed off. When you dont launch and then he jumps ahead and puts the flashers on.....that'll make your blood boil. I guess in the end it all had to even itself out. You ran a cool Stang owner, therefore you had to meet a Stang owner who was an even bigger tool than most.

Funny story. For right now I am driving an 02 Stang and now that you mention it noone will do anything with me now. Gonna make a trip to the crusher tomorrow.

o'reilly's here in town is hiring coming next month, you should get a job with e and get cheap parts (not that we carry many bimmer parts anyways)

i make... 350~ every 2 weeks at about 30 hours a week.

I'm gonna be getting a job when I get back up to school, I'll head on over there as soon as I get back up to Fultron. I'm sad though...boost was so very close, now its so far away again.
