22 throttle position sensor low
38 brake switch circut
36 transaxel shift control problems?
ive changed fuel filter, plugs, air cleaner, pcv and the tps when u accellarate it acts like it going to stall.... I HAD THIS POSTED IN BONNIVILLE FORUM AND IT WAS SUGGESTED TO CHECK OUT BUICK OLDS ETC.. THANK YOU IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO KNOW WITH THE CAR....

Any luck with checking the coils? Maxwedge is around here quite often, he may be able to give you a few more suggestions than I. If I remember right, he's GM certified...I'm backyard certified tho :)

From the codes, I have a feeling that they are being tripped by a different problem then what the codes themselves represent.

Lemme see if I can find a how-to on setting up a TPS just to be sure you got it right....

Bingo :)

Oh, and just for reference, here is his original post: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=570818

Is it just me, or does the Bonneville forum seem to have threads regarding newer cars more often than in here? I check it once in a while to see if there are any questions about cars from the year ranges that I know but I rarely run into them....

Verify fuel pressure, you may have to drive to the point of the problem and read the fp. I would then suspect the maf, since the expected tps voltage is gaged by what the maf percieves as engine load/air flow, based on this the pcm thinks the throttle opening is wrong, try tapping the maf see if the enine stumbles. Now this all assumes your condition as described is not a trans shifting issue, which would require a tech to road test and determine what the condition is. This really should have a full scan done to look at the tps operation and maf readings, if fp is good and it is found the trans is not the issue.

To find the fuel pressure, you'll need a guage. I believe you can rent one from Autozone but if not they aren't too expensive. Screw one end of the hose onto the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and tape the guage itself onto the base of your windshield so you can watch it while driving.

my buddy is a mechanic and he scanned it and drove it and he said the tps is now set in the right range the tranny is shifting correctly but the cross counts for the o2 sensors are low and the car is burning rich.. he said change o2 but it wont effect the hesitating.. when i brought car home i tried to tap on maf and cracked it.. the idol didnt change... he uses a snap on scanner not sure model or type..

Since your MAF broke and the engine's performance didn't change any, I would assume that the MAF is at least part of your problem. Even if it isn't your problem, it is broken anyway. You would be best off to get a new one soon and see if that helps (I wouldn't get a junkyard special though).

Have you tried to clean your intake, btw? I.E. spraying down your TB (throttle body) and Throttle plate with TB cleaner?

If you can get the fuel pressure numbers for us then we (and by "we" I mean maxwedge or someone else with a bit more technical knowledge than myself) can either elminate or identify fuel as the issue.
