Well... The day has finally came...

The Talon is officially gone... :(

Now, I have something that is worth just as much as what I put into it over the years. I did a straight trade for a fully loaded near mint condition 02 Tahoe. It was too good of a deal to pass up...

Drove the Talon for the last time yesterday and thought about all the good times I had with it and all the bad. I learned a ton from that car and owe 90% of my car knowledge to it. I had a blast getting into such a huge project and such a great car community because of it. DSMers are like no other car group. Corvette guys are friendly and great, but not a lot of them do all the work themselves. So DSMers will always be my favorite ones.

Over the years, my priorities have shifted and free time has become less and less. I knew this was the best move for me at this point in time even though I didn't want to give it up. I may not have it anymore, but I will still creep around here from time to time and visit the few familiar faces that still remain in the DSM section.

So for all those that helped over the years on this thing in knowledge, parts and actual hands on, thank you.



And maybe someday I'll get another DSM... ;)

Why did you get the Tahoe? You can't ever have less than 3 cars can you?

Actually, I sold the Cobalt this week too. So all I have is the Z06 and Tahoe. I finally decided I don't need 3 cars at a time until I at least have my own huge garage to keep them all in. ;)

I did. Was worth getting rid of it now for a decent price since I originally got it for half the price new Cobalts were going for and I've had it paid off for a couple years now.
