jet performance module

ok i understand somewhat how to hook the Jet performance module up #68001 i have a 2.4L 01 GASE

what i dont understand is the MAP manifold absoulte pressure wires , am i supposed to cut the wire so it connects to the module and the stock wire is no longer used or do i splice into it so that when the module is on it runs off the module programming and when the module is on it runs of the stock setting???? Some one please help me i dont want to cut the wire and F*** this up...

without reading the directions, Id say yes.
Its probly monitoring the MAP for variuous things.

Just remember to always turn that Chip Off before you start the car :thumbsup:
