2006 325XI Sport Wagon
- 3.0L I6, 6 spd, AWD

2006 A4 Avant
- 2.0L I4 Turbo, 6 spd, quattro

What do you think? Any personal experiences? How about comparing their awd systems? Quattro or xDrive? Any input/comments appreciated.

Wow pretty impressive. Never really thought that there was this much difference in different all wheel drive systems. Thanks for the link.

Yeah that was cool. The X5 didnt surprise me (I figured it would do well) the Nissan Patrol didnt do as well, the Volvo did better than I expected, and the Allroad Just shocked me. I didnt think an Allroad would beat an X5 at its own game. I think the Audi is the clear winner here. You just cant beat Quattro.

I drove both of them, and if you want to use it for the highway, the BMW is better I think, because it's faster, but if there's snow the Audi really OWNS!!! It's easy to handle, the engine is working great etc. Of course the BMW is good on snow too, but harder to handle, it's more like a sportscar, really fun to drive, it's handling is great of course, but not on snow.
