MAP sensor Specs

Could some one with a manual tell me what the voltages and vacuum should be on a 1995 Aurora? I probed the back of the plug while pluged in and key on and applied vacuum with a vacuum pump and these are the readings I got. The car does not like to accelerate and bucks (like a miss) when it does, just goes BLaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, very sluggish.

This is not your problem, the readings are about right, keep looking. Blocked cat, engine miss, low fuel pressure.

I did just have the fuel rail recall performed and was wondering when something would show up from this procedure. Dealer was not real happy they had to perform it and I was reluctant in having them do it.
I drove the car with the MAP sensor disconnected and it acted about the same, just a little worse. I have been unable to find a local parts store that can scan the engine because it is one of those mix and match OBD setups (1995, door says made in 1994). I don't really want to go to the dealer because they never know what they are doing. They just start replacing things without really thinking it through. Can I check the fuel pressure or do I need some special tools? When accelerating hard it absolutely feels like a miss, but when just driving around it will kill the whole car for a coupleof half-second jolts. The RPM gauge drops to zero and jumps around during this short time. Thanks for any further suggestions.

In addition to Shep's (Maxwedge) suggestion you may have a flaky crank position sensor. Also, other possibilities are the ignition control module and one or more coil packs.

However, the tach abruptly dropping off to zero rpms right about at or a split second before stalling or cutout is a classic symptom of a flaky crank position sensor.
